                                                Contest Rules

 

All contest entries will be judged on outline, color quality, technical execution, overall appeal, use of space on the body, composition and presentation.

 

All tattoos must be fully healed under the skin except the Tattoo of the Day

 

A contest may be entered by a registered artist or tattoo enthusiast at no additional charge or by any attending artist or tattoo enthusiast paying a fifteen dollar ($15.00) entry fee per each contest. Do not disrobe in the lobby or ballroom.  Failure to be judged will result in a disqualification, NO EXCEPTIONS!  There is no limits on the number of categories entered. Only one tattoo per category is allowed and do not enter the same tattoo in two or more different categories.  (The only exceptions are sleeves, over-all or leg categories)

 

To become a Sponsor send $200.00 to Deana @ Deana's Skin Art Studio and receive the following items:

Winners of the following contests will be announced and awarded on Sunday, except tattoo of the day contest.

    Saturday : (Judged in this order)
                  Contests will be judged starting at 3pm (First, Second & Third Place in each catagory )

                  Contests will be judged starting at 2pm (First, Second & Third Place in each catagory )

 3.  Sleeves

 4.  Smallest tattoo

  5. Best over-all


Everyone gets a certificate of participation.

All 1st place winners will be entered in to Best of Show Award (Best of Show receives $100 Cash)

Artists Only Contests (First, Second & Third Place in each catagory )  

        1. Best color flash sheet
        2. Best black and gray flash sheet
        3. Cover-up (before and after photos)
        4. Flat art category (any Size, any art media) no boundaries

TATTOO OF THE DAY CONTEST FRI., SAT., & SUN. NIGHT, 1st, 2nd and 3rd
PLACE ARTIST & FAN TROPHIES. TATTOO MUST BE DONE ON THE FLOOR

In Memory of Suzanne Fauser, lost 02/08/2001, Instead of the artist of the show we are now

presenting this award to the most creative artist working at the expo, The judges will

choose the winner by the work done here this weekend, by their photo album, and by

tattoos that people are wearing. Presented Sunday at the close of this years event. 

We also lost Kim Strickland 01/14/2001, another one of our very talented artist who

worked this expo in the past.

Our prayers go out to their loved ones who must continue life's journey without them.
